Ok, Honest Review Time. This anime has most of the marks of what I call an All-time Icon. Other series that hold this title are as follows; That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, Clannad, Ita:Kiss, Your Lie in April, March Comes in Like a Lion, Spy X Family, and Shield Hero Rising(Season 1).

With all these varied titles and stories, you may be wondering what the basic criteria are for attaining this high honor from me. Well, I'll give you the list, as well as a key for clarity's sake.

(8.5 points minimum to gain the title All-time Icon, does not equate to standard X/10 quality scale)

1: Interesting and well established world/magic system*
2: Fun and genuinely interesting 3-dimensional characters in the main cast(*)

3.2: Dynamic changes have reasonable cause/are not too sudden*
4: Emotional connection/drive is easily achieved*

That's my list. You may use it to your hearts content to rank your favorite shows. As you can see, this show gains a solid 8.5 points, granting it the title All-time Classic. More like a 5/10, there is no through explanation of the magic system, for one I would like to know if it is possible to use more than 1 element because ice is all the Mc uses, they never even bothered to explain the Mc's "potent" mana or why he even has it.Also all the fights felt falt, no real danger was there and it was resolved by some emotional dialogue and a sudden power up. The side cast is also not very well portrayed, the only backstory we got for any of the side characters were Rex and the dragon girl and it was incomplete because they didn't even show how their relationship fell apart to where it was. I can't say I hated it but it wasn't for me.

Literally i don't know why some people are hating this but this is pure diamondgo ahead and watch this. Each person has his own point of view but from my point of view this anime is super awesome

Wow! now that is something you hardly ever see in a anime! A straight up "I love you" confession! Could not help think "wonder twin powers activate" when they powering up

Wait that was the last episode? I really thought there was going to be more i was liking the story. So I guess we have to wait. Hopefully there will be a season 2 soon i want to see what happens.

the music is class its making all of these moments awesome. Such a great soundtrack.

I regret watching this. It was boring and the fan service wasn't that much. Horribly romantic. Mann I get it you want to protect your familiar but we don't want to get reminded about it every 10 minutes.
Apart from the Vermeil no other character was showing developed. MC was already strong from the rest of the crowd and he just got more strong. There was no back story, why he want to be the best mage.

Coming to other friends of Alto, we didn't get to see much about them. All we know is the other girl also loves Alto and that's it.

I started watching this show for the Ecchi tag but got disappointed because of lack of fan service and further the story and the character development didn't impress much.
Overall I would rate it 5/10 and clearly not recommended.

Man.. Marx is just weird usually the useless and dumb characters in S1 are usually the strongest of the group in S2 lol

If this gets more Seasons I would love to see Alto get OP and have the "whole world" turns against him. I also wanna see more of him fighting ruthlessly, not just sum childish Ice Age bullshit

6.5 music is a whole vibe vermeil chest carried episode 1-5 until it becomes normal the main character could do a lot more work he has potential but let’s just see if they’ll capitalize on it animation is ok for the show really the budget is super low so we shouldn’t expect demon slayer animation lol so yeah that’s my rating

It is worthy of a second season but, hopefully, there won't be as much time wasted in longwinded siliques and syrupy romantic angst.

Anime started off decent then the dialog got so cringe. "If this feeling is wrong then I don't want to be right" seriously? He's repeated his promise a few times almost said the same way. This is mid even for an ecchi. They don't give you a reason to care for any supporting characters. 4/10 from me
